Over the years I've done lots of local competitions, run a lot of races, and rucked a lot of miles. I have PRs I'm proud of (clean and jerking 35 pounds over bodyweight, deadlifting 2.25X bodyweight, squatting 1.75X bodyweight, etc.) but these days I'm most proud of maintaining a commitment to long term health and an active lifestyle.

I started doing CrossFit in 2009 while pregnant with my second child, and I was thrilled with how quickly I bounced back after a difficult delivery. I was so hooked that from 2011-2018, I owned and managed CrossFit 919 in Durham, and continued to coach after selling it in 2018.
I love teaching the basics of quality movement and nutrition. My goal is to help people master the fundamentals of safe, sustainable movement so that they feel confident trying new activities at any stage of life.
